2.2m UltraLight FlyAway Antenna

The AvL 2.2m Model 2020-TS is an ultra-lightweight multi-band flyaway antenna. The antenna is motorized with auto-acquire for GEO communications and is upgradable to MEO operation.

AvL's 22m Model 2020-TS flyaway antenna is part of the Lite Coms Lite Sat® 2.2A VSAT terminal, which has been certified for:

• ARSTRAT including Low PIM for X-band
• MIL-STD-810 Environmental
• MIL-STD-1452 Two-Person Lift
• SES First Generation O3b MEO

Features of the antenna include:

• 13-piece carbon reflector
• Split elevation and azimuth positioners for lighter weight and smaller pack-up
• Assembly in 15 minutes with two people
• RF band auto-sensing and will sense a change in RF kit and auto update settings to the new band
• Operational wind performance with anchoring: up to 40 mph (64 kph)
• Survival wind performance - stowed (boom removed), with anchoring: up to 60 mph (96 kph)
